Biography
JACK KING

Gunned down “execution style” screamed the newspaper headlines. Jack King spent the next two years relentlessly trying to solve his father’s shocking murder. Jack received the Lord Jesus Christ two years after the murder and learned to trust God’s Word that said, “All things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Soon after becoming a Christian at a meeting with Edwin Louis Cole, Jack’s life was dramatically impacted by a message of forgiveness. Since then, Jack’s own testimony of God’s power of forgiveness has brought healing and hope to men throughout the country. His life proves again what Joseph learned centuries ago, that God can take anything meant for bad and turn it around to work for one’s good.

Jack was affiliated with Brother Cole’s ministry beginning 1984, and served in full-time ministry as Brother Cole’s associate minister from 1987 until shortly after Brother Cole’s home going, August 27, 2002. In January 2003, FAITHFUL MEN MINISTRIES was founded by Jack and continues declaring God’s truth to men everywhere.

He is the father of five, has been married thirty-nine years to Betty with five children and seven grandchildren. He also is a former U.S. Army Drill Sergeant. With this background, he ministers with an uncommon boldness combined with a God-given tenderness and humor.

For fifteen years, Jack traveled with Brother Cole to minister to men from all walks of life, and to build men’s ministry that really works. He has taught life-changing principles relating to men’s issues in his own church as well as in churches across the nation and around the world. And he has lived the powerful truth that “Manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous.”

Faithful Men Ministries has been instrumental in launching the Majoring in Men Curriculum in some of the largest and fastest growing church’s in the United States. The vision to Build Men & Raise Sons is being declared to nations around the world.

The Vision

The vision of Faithful Men Ministries is to see men's lives changed through the gospel of Jesus Christ and to see men mature in the Lord, become committed and faithful men. We believe the example in Genesis with Abram and his 318 men, epitomizes real men's ministries in the body of Christ. When we as Christian men, hear that a brother has been taken captive, by drugs, alcohol, pornography, adultery, lying, cheating, stealing or anything that enslaves him, we must be willing to drop what we are doing and pursue and restore them back into a right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Purpose

Our main purpose is relationships. The driving force behind everything we do is based on a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and to develop and maintain relationships with one another. Our secondary purpose is to facilitate, instruct, encourage, exhort, and mobilize men for God. The need is great in men's lives to be everything God created them to be. Pastors and men's leaders must have the tools necessary to make disciples of all men.

The Strategy

Our strategy is to mentor men through the local church by teaching the pastors and leaders how to disciple their men. We will fulfill this strategy primarily by using the ministry teachings provided through materials from Edwin Louis Cole's ministry. The backbone of Faithful Men Ministries will be the pastors and other faithful men who can demonstrate the pattern of true manhood. Faithful Men Ministries believes that reaching men effectively in this generation will take more than words on a page and in order to be successful we must utilize the most current technologies available. This generation and others to come will have access to more information than the previous generation to the point that their minds will be saturated with images and information. We will use the latest and most useful means of communicating the truth of Jesus Christ to them.
