No One can close a conference better than Pastor Michael Tenpenny, Lamb of God church, Flagstaff, AZ. He thinks he is retiring but can't find the word in the word 'retire' in the bible. Somebody help the boy! God is just taking him to another level of ministry.

Okay, finally back home from Peru late last night with my wonderful wife. What an incredible impact the "Save the Family" Congress is having. Eighteen countries taking a stand for the family and re-establishing God's definition of family. Not only great speakers but men & women of God doing more than just preaching about it. Normally I don't keep hammering you with things week after week, but I had to let you know about a great addition to our lineup of Speakers this year at our Faithful Men & Women Conference, Sept 23-25 at the DFW Airport Marriott South at Hwy 360 & Trinity exit.
Grover Norwood, Heart of Texas Foundation is going to be with us for the entire conference. If you are not familiar with Grover then go to www.heartoftexasthemovie.com A movie was made about his life and last year, 2009, it won every award there is for Documentary Movies.
I met Grover earlier this year at the Conley Prison Unit in Kennedy,TX. I was there to do a "One Day with God" camp with Forgiven Ministries out of Taylorsville, NC.
they were showing this movie to the inmate population and when it was over , Grover walked out on the stage. The men stood and cheered for a long time, since they had no idea he was going to be there. They had just seen him on the screen, now he was there n person. Every man wanted to thank him and hug his neck, they lined up around the room to get to meet him.
You may be saying, "well, what's the movie about?" Okay, briefly let me try to sum it up. Ten years ago, Grovers 4 year old daughter, Joy was run over and killed by a hit and run driver. When he found out it was one of his best friends, he was overwhelmed with compassion and went to the man to see how he was doing. What follows is one of the greatest miracles you have ever heard or will see n the movie. zit unified a community in Texas and the churches, black, white, you name it, the people were in awe of what God did in the midst of a terrible tragedy in the Norwood's family was beyond human capability. Come hear what God has him doing so every inmate n prison can study the word of God.
Grover is not coming to be another great speaker in an already powerful lineup. Grover has been touched by this ministry to men and feels every man in prison needs to be studying the word through the Majoring in Men Curriculum. He wants to be a part of what God has been doing in so many men's lives around the word. He acknowledges, "it's what works for men and it's the Word that does the work.
